Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240g) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (120g) mayonnaise
- 2 cups (225g) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (110g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 medium fresh jalapeños, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (14 oz each) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup extra Mozzarella cheese for topping
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain artichoke hearts thoroughly and press with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Chop finely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth using a hand mixer or fork.
- Add mayonnaise, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped artichokes, diced jalapeños, half of the Mozzarella, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining Mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese is melted and golden.
- Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra browning, watching closely.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Ensure artichoke hearts are thoroughly drained to prevent a watery dip. Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture. Shred your own cheese for better melting. This dip can be made up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerated before baking.
