Description
A simple, refreshing, and cozy iced latte made with espresso, almond milk, honey, cinnamon, and ice. Dairy-free and naturally sweetened, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 shots espresso or about 2 ounces (60ml) strong coffee
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30ml) honey
- ½ to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- About 1 cup (240ml) ice cubes
- Optional: pinch of sea salt
- Optional: sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish
- Optional: splash of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brew two shots of espresso or about ½ cup (120ml) of very strong coffee.
- While the coffee is hot, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey and ½ to 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir vigorously until honey is completely dissolved and cinnamon is well distributed.
- Fill a tall glass about ¾ full with ice cubes.
- Slowly pour the honey-cinnamon espresso mixture over the ice.
- Pour 1 cup (240ml) of almond milk over the iced coffee and stir gently to combine.
- Optional: garnish with a pinch of cinnamon or drizzle a little extra honey on top. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use hot espresso to dissolve honey properly. Adjust cinnamon and honey to taste. Use unsweetened almond milk for best flavor. Try coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution. Best served fresh; store espresso and almond milk separately if prepping ahead.
